Crescendo – 1st Place for Lithoz in the category “On the Rise”

At the end of September, the Austrian Economic Chambers awarded the “Crescendo”, an award for entrepreneurial spirit, to companies in Vienna. Lithoz won the 1st Prize in the category “On the Rise”.

In the category „On the Rise“, the award is given to companies that started with an idea and created a prospering company. Lithoz is very pleased with the Crescendo award and the appreciation of its company performance.


Hidden Champion Award 2014

On June 24th, 2014 Lithoz was presented with the “Hidden Champion 3.0” Award. In the course of the 11th Export Day of the Austrian Economic Chambers (Wirtschaftskammer Österreich) their president, Dr. Christoph Leitl, presented the award to the managing directors of Lithoz.

The term “Hidden Champions” refers to companies that operate as international market leaders in a specialized segment of the market and offer their exceptional products or services, globally or within Europe. Apart from honouring leadership in innovation and technology, the “Hidden Champion Award” recognizes outstanding contributions to the Austrian export economy.

“The team of Lithoz is very proud of the appreciation from the Austrian Economic Chambers through this award! We see the award as recognition of our work and take it as encouragement and motivation to extend and improve our position on the market”, is the delighted response of Johannes Patzer, CTO and Johannes Homa, CEO of Lithoz.


1st Place in the category: Industrial Printingprojects

The Golden Pixel Award is the Austrian Prize for advanced and innovative printingprojects. This Award is one of the most renowned prizes of the Austrian Print and Media Industry and has been awarded for the first time to Industrial Printingprojects this year. Lithoz was clearly identified as the most innovative and futureoriented application within its category. LIthoz is thrilled about this award. more



National Champion in the 2013/14 European Business Awards

Lithoz has been selected from over 15.000 companies as one of Europe´s brightest businesses actively demonstrating the core principles of the European Business Awards: Success, Innovation and Ethics. 527 National Champions are representing 31 countries across Europe. The European Business Award recognizes business excellence from all industry sectors, embracing businesses of all sizes and ages from all European countries. 12 National Champions have been selected in Austria that will participate in the European Competition.



“Phönix” – The Award for young spin-off-companies

In order to raise the awareness and make the connection between Science and Economy more visible the Austrian Ministry for Science and Research has awarded the “Phönix” last year for the first time. After evaluation and ranking of the projects by an international jury the prize is awarded in two categories: Phönix for young spin-off-companies and Phönix Women for young spin-off-companies whose foundation mainly involved women.

Lithoz was awarded with the Phönix 2013 for being the best spin-off-company. The Vienna University of Technology was also honoured for its contribution to this successful company foundation. more



Houska Award 2013 – 2nd Place for the LCM-Technology

The Houska Award is Austria´s biggest private research prize that has already been awarded since 2005 by the renowed private foundation B&C. In 2013 39 high-class applications have been submitted by 15 domestic Universities for the prize.

The Vienna University of Technology finished in 2nd place and was awarded with a prize money of 70,000 EUR for the research project of 3D-printing of high-performance cermanics. Together with his team, Dr.Jürgen Stampfl of the Institute of Materials Science and –Technology could convince the jury with the newly invented LCM-Technology. Dr.Patzer (CTO) and Dr.Homa (CEO) of Lithoz GmbH, who were significantly involved in the development of this technology, were delighted about the award: “this prize shows the pioneering position of the LCM-Technology”.



ECONOVIUS 2013 - Nomination for Lithoz

On March 13th, 2013 Mr.Reinhold Mitterlehner, the Minister of Economic Affairs will present the Austrian National Award for Innovation 2013. Within this ceremony a special prize, the ECONOVIUS, will be given to the most innovative small and medium-sized Company (SME). Lithoz is nominated for this award together with 4 other companies.



EuroMold Award 2012 in Silver for Lithoz

During the fair that was held for 4 days, the EuroMold-Award was awarded for the 15th time for outstanding technical innovations and product developments. The following criteria was considered: the level of innovation, sustainability, efficiency and design. We are happy about the EuroMold-Award in silver that we have received for Additive Manufacturing of high-performance ceramics. Being present in Frankfurt we could demonstrate the new CeraFab 7500. Additionally we could present new components which show the multiple use of our technology. more



MERCUR 2012 - winner in the category ICT/Technology

Lithoz was awarded the winner in the ICT category/Technology for its excellent innovation CeraFab. The MERCUR is awarded every year by the Economic Chamber of Vienna.  The independent Institute for Industrial Science (IWI) has evaluated the projects. more



GEWINN – 1st place for the „idea oft he year“ and 2nd place „Start-up Entrepreneur 2012“

Gewinn has awarded the best Start-up Entrepreneurs for the 23rd time during a ceremony with Dr. Reinhold Mitterlehner and Environment Minister DI Niki Berlakovich on November 21st, 2012. 2nd place for Lithoz „Start-up Entrepreneurs 2012“. In addition prizes in five categories (Hightech, Export, IT/E-Commerce, Environment and Idea of the Year) were presented to the best Start-up Entrepreneurs. 1st place for Lithoz in the category „Idea of the year“.



Lithoz won the third prize for the idea-competition at the RIZ-Genius-Award.
