LithaBite AO 250 was specially developed for processing in the LCM process. The material is based on high-purity aluminium oxide powder (99.99 %) and is characterised by high mechanical strength, excellent tribological properties and a high density. It allows the production of components with an absolute tolerance of less than 10 µm and a standard deviation of less than 7 µm.

This optimum interplay of material and production process means that LithaBite AO 250 is highly reliable, which is just as important in industrial and medical series production as it is in the manufacture of individual components and customised products.

LithaBite AO 250 achieves translucent properties with the aid of a special thermal post-treatment and opens up new possibilities for aesthetic and functional orthodontic applications where the highest demands are placed on functionality and design.
