Discover ceramics potentials at the AM Ceramics 2018 from 9-10 October 2018 in Vienna

Due to its success in the past two years, the AM Ceramics will occur once again in Vienna this year. Following the target to connect and strengthen the bonds between research and industry, this time the program will be even more diverse. More than a hundred 3D printing specialists and professionals from different AM industries are to be expected.

If you need professional advice concerning material use, material feasibility, your CeraFab System or if you are just looking for a new approach concerning your particular application issue; Meet the expert! This year you can book an appointment in advance on the first day of conference with one of our professionals in the fields of chemistry, material development, processing and postprocessing.

Real Applications & Best Practice Examples
In order to give you a good overview, this year’s schedule is structured into four core topics: AM General, Material, Application and Medical. Related to the core topics you can listen to lectures ranging from supply-chain management, material development and component testing via computer tomography to applied best practice examples for the semiconductor industry as well as medical breakthroughs.

Key Issue Medical – Bioresorbable Materials & Customer Specific Implants
Austrian physicians Günter Russmüller Medical (University of Vienna) and Frank Reinauer (KLS Martin) will present cutting-edge scientific achievements in the field of individualized medicine. Together with Daniel Bomze (Lithoz) their lectures will cover the following topics: Successfully implemented customer specific implants, bioresorbable materials and supporting software.
 

Panel Discussion & Szene Additive News
A particular highlight will be a panel discussion “Future Perspectives of AM for Industry” introduced by an impulse lecture “3D Printing for a Future Civilization on the Moon” and moderated by Johannes Homa (Lithoz). Jens Günster (Bundesanstalt für Materialforschung und -prüfung) will provide platform news about Szene Additiv on the second day.
